There are many iterations of the agent and broker, but in short…. insurance agents usually represent one insurance company (think of the insurers that advertise incessantly on television). If you speak with an insurance agent and ask any question, or request an insurance idea for anything, the answer is always going to be… the one company they represent!
As a insurance broker, we work with all the insurance companies. When you ask a question, our answer is not motivated by one insurer’s expectations. When you request a quote of insurance, we can research and find the best coverage for your needs (in both benefit and cost) from among all of the available choices.
24 Years of Service

11 Years in the Marketplace
The Marketplace (healthcare.gov) can be hard to navigate yourself. Chip was recently thanked by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) for his dedication to helping consumers access health coverage in the Marketplace during the Open Enroll. Period (OEP) and throughout the year (SEP), for 11 years.
2024 Elite Champions Circle
Chip Millard is again named by Healthcare.gov to the “Elite Circle of Champions” for 2024, a designation awarded to agents and brokers who help consumers choose and enroll in health insurance plans on the Marketplace. Chip has received the award each year of its existence (2014-2024).
